Ms S Weavers

Teaching Scholar

.I grew up in Denmark and pursued my early education there, completing a law degree at the University of Copenhagen. During my studies, I participated in an international exchange programme which sparked my interest in different languages and cultures. After obtaining my Master’s in Law, I moved to the UK full-time, where I completed a conversion course to practice law in the UK.

After working as a lawyer for a number of years, I decided to make a shift towards more personally fulfilling work. I began volunteering with Warrington Youth Zone, which sparked my interest in working with children. This led to a role at a primary school supporting young students.

Seeking more of a challenge, I transitioned to working within the probation service, where I helped adults of all ages navigate difficult circumstances. Through this experience, I realised how critical the high school years are in shaping young people's futures, especially for students with special educational needs.

I am now working as a scholar at King’s Leadership Academy, assisting students with SEN, helping them navigate their unique challenges and realise their potential. I particularly enjoy supporting students in Spanish lessons, as it aligns with my passion for languages.

In my spare time I love open water swimming, travel and music.
