Miss E Fairclough

Teaching Scholar

My King's journey started when I moved to Kings in Year 9. From the beginning, I was fortunate to learn from some of the best teachers, which ignited my passion for sports and exercise science. This passion led me to pursue this field in college and later at university.

During my academic journey, I noticed a significant gap in support for students with special educational needs (SEN) in high schools. This realisation motivated me to join King's Leadership Academy as a Teaching Scholar. Here, I focused on understanding the needs of students with ADHD, ASD, and speech and language challenges.

As I developed my career, I've been dedicated to addressing these needs and supporting these students in various capacities. Currently, I'm focused on expanding my knowledge within the SEN department, eager to further contribute to the well-being and academic success of every pupil I work with.

Outside the classroom, you can find me actively involved in lesson support, lunch clubs, and promoting overall student well-being. I'm committed to continuing my professional development and making a positive impact on the educational journey of every student I encounter.
