My journey at King's Leadership Academy Warrington began in 2012, as a member of the inaugural cohort. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I was part of something special. Throughout my high school years, I thrived in an environment that fostered academic excellence and personal growth.
After completing my high school education, I continued my journey at King's by enrolling in the sixth form to pursue my A levels. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for learning and my desire to make a difference in the world around me.
When an opportunity for a business administration apprenticeship arose at King's, I knew it was the next step in my journey. I seized the opportunity with enthusiasm and dedication, completing the role in 2020 and earning my NVQ Level 2 in business administration.
Eager to further my education and expand my horizons, I began working at a primary school while pursuing a degree in English Literature through the Open University. As I juggled work and studies, I discovered a passion for working closely with students and supporting their academic and personal development.
My role at the primary school provided me with invaluable experience and insight into the world of education. As I took on more responsibilities, including overseeing the PTA and engaging with students, I realised my calling to work directly in the classroom to help students thrive.
With a renewed sense of purpose, I applied to return to King's, this time as a teaching scholar. Through hard work and determination, I worked my way up to my current position as Assistant SENCO. In this role, I have the privilege of supporting students and families, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
My journey at King's Leadership Academy Warrington has been a testament to the school's commitment to excellence and innovation. I am proud to be part of a community that values education, empowers individuals, and inspires lifelong learning. As I continue on my journey, I am excited to make a meaningful impact and help shape the future generation of leaders.
