I went to the University of Sheffield, earning a first class degree in human geography. I was awarded special accreditation for the highest marked dissertation, where I explored the complex relationship between technology, sexuality, race and place. Prior to joining King’s I was a Police Officer, a role I did for five years before returning to education due to my belief in the power of learning and its impact on improving the life chances of the next generation.
