Miss C Traverse

Teaching Assistant

I am a dedicated and compassionate individual with a deep-seated passion for helping
others. During High school, I took on the role of a tutor in my spare time, providing support
and guidance to younger students. This early experience of helping others laid the
foundation for my career dedicated to public service and education.

Following High school, I pursued studies in public services at sixth form, where I gained
valuable insights into the ways of life and the importance of serving the community. Driven
by a desire to make a meaningful difference, I enrolled in university to study Policing
Studies, aspiring to become a Family Liaison Officer. This role appealed to me as it
combined investigative skills with a strong commitment to providing emotional support to
families in need.

While at university, I became acutely aware of the significant need for additional support
within the school system. This realisation prompted a shift in my career path, leading to an
apprenticeship as a Teaching Assistant. Through this apprenticeship, I worked in a primary
school, where I provided crucial assistance to both students and teachers, fostering a
supportive and nurturing learning environment.

Seeking greater challenges and aiming to achieve the highest standards in my career, I
applied to King's Leadership Academy Warrington, one of the most prestigious High schools.
At King's Leadership Academy Warrington, I aim to continue my mission of supporting pupils
within lessons, assisting with speech and language development, and fostering friendships
through lunch clubs and other social activities. With a strong foundation of experience and a
commitment to continuous improvement, I am devoted to making a meaningful difference in
the educational journey of every student I support.
